Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken legs
  • 1 med brown onion, finely chopped
  • 2 sticks celery, finely chopped
  • 2 carrots peeled, halved and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups McKenzie’s, soup mix, rinsed.
  • 2 litre Campbell’s Real Stock Chicken
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • Toast to serve

Preparation

Step 1
Place chicken legs into the bottom of the slow cooker, top with chopped onion, celery, carrots, soup mix and stock.
Step 2
Cook on HIGH for 6 hours until chicken is cooked, and soup mix has softened.
Step 3
Remove chicken from the pot, discard chicken skin and bones, shred the chicken and return to the pot. Stir well.
Step 4
Ladle soup into bowls. Top with chives.
Step 5
Serve with toast.
